It often sounds more formal or refined, which is why it is known to be linked to professionalism and academia. British English also has a playful side, with unique slang and witty expressions that add charm and humour. While American English is more direct, British English carries a depth and personality that makes it stand out from the crowd.

One of my fondest memories is my first visit to Vietnam in 2019. It was an incredible experience—teaching English, immersing myself in a new culture, and embracing every adventure that came my way. I tried amazing new foods, connected with wonderful people, and saw life from a fresh perspective. Every day was a mix of excitement and learning, from the warmth of my students to the bustling energy of the streets. That journey didn’t just broaden my horizons; it deepened my love for travel, teaching, and the beauty of new experiences.
