Hello there, I am Teacher Jessica! I am a kind, caring, professional and enthusiastic teacher. I have 8 years of teaching experience in school and online. I have experience teaching beginner English, intermediate English, advanced English and business English. I hold a bachelor's degree in Education and a GA Level 5 TEFL Diploma, so rest assured that your learning experience is in good hands as I am experienced in working with students of all ages and levels. I pride myself on being professional but still having fun while learning. I include a wide range of TPR to reinforce learning in the classroom and I have fun, engaging lesson props and flashcards. I love to boost my student’s confidence to encourage participation and fun while learning. I focus on day-to-day speech, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, phonics and so much more. I believe that British English is attractive as it is a classic universally recognized version of the English language. When compared to American English, British English is leagues ahead as this version of English is richer and more diverse. British English also places more focus on the complete understanding of pronunciation and grammar. American English also only focuses on simple times: Present, past and future simple, whereas British English places focus on these but also on extended grammar and perfect time language which is included in day-to-day English sentence structure and is a very important area to learn. As a teacher I believe that the most important thing when learning English is to focus on the four major skills. Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing as these are the main skills you need to communicate with proficiently.

The most exciting experience of my life was when I went on a cruise ship with my family we traveled to many different places. I loved it because I got to meet different people from all around the world. It was fun to learn about the variety of cultures and exciting experiences they have in their countries. It was this experience that led me in the direction of teaching English as a foreign language because I get to meet so many new students and learn about the Korean culture.
