A fond memory from this year is my experience living in Bangkok, Thailand, where I had the opportunity to fully immerse myself in a new culture. Being surrounded by new people, places, experiences, and incredible food has truly been a highlight of my life. I feel grateful to have experienced Thai culture so deeply, as it has opened my eyes to a different part of the world and broadened my perspective in meaningful ways. Working with people from diverse backgrounds and navigating language barriers has also strengthened my communication and interpersonal skills. These experiences have taught me patience, empathy, and adaptability—qualities that I bring into my teaching and will continue to use throughout my life.
